“Film Industry 5.0: The Future of Indian Cinema” held successfully in Chennai, offering insights, analysis, and guidance on the way forward for the cinema industry
Industry leaders, Experts highlighted how blending creativity and commerce with technology can help the industry reach new heights
A crucial event titled “Film Industry 5.0: The Future of Indian Cinema” was jointly organised by Fipchain, River Ventures, Pure Cinema, Brand Change, IP Climb, and Producer Bazaar, was held in Chennai on Wednesday (January 7) at the Producer Bazaar office located in the Guindy SIDCO Industrial Estate.
Organised with the objective of analysing, researching, and offering guidance on the future of the film industry, the event brought together several industry experts who spoke about how integrating creativity with technology can help cinema scale new heights.
At the event, Dr. Viveka Kalidasan, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of River Ventures Singapore, delivered a keynote address on “Film Industry 5.0: Where Technology Serves Creativity”. This was followed by creator’s conversation on How AI use cases are transforming scriptwriting, editing, and visual storytelling in Indian cinema, as well as a roundtable discussion on Reimagining rights, revenues, and global reach in an AI-driven cinema economy.
