‘அக்யூஸ்ட்’ திரைப்படத்தில் முதல் முறையாக உதயா, அஜ்மல் மற்றும் யோகி பாபு இணைந்து நடித்துள்ளனர். நடிகர் உதயாவின் வெள்ளி விழா ஆண்டு திரைப்படமான ‘அக்யூஸ்ட்’, உதயாவின் படங்களிலேயே இதுவரை இல்லாத அளவுக்கு அதிக பட்ஜெட்டில் உருவானது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

இப்படத்தை கன்னட திரையுலகில் வெற்றி படங்களை இயக்கிய பிரபு ஶ்ரீநிவாஸ் இயக்கியுள்ளார். பிரபல கன்னட நடிகை ஜான்விகா நாயகியாக நடித்துள்ளார்.

Made under the banners of Jaeshan Studios in association with Sachin Cinemas, Sri Dayakaran Cine Productions, and MIY Studios, ‘Accused’ produced on a grand budget by A.L. Udhaya, ‘Daya’ N. Panneerselvam, and M. Thangavel was released in theatres worldwide last week.

‘Accused’, which has been receiving positive reviews, praise from journalists and media persons, and support from fans since its release, is making good collections in the box-office.

Following this, the number of screens continues to increase. Happy about the development, Producers A.L. Udhaya, ‘Daya’ N. Panneerselvam, and M. Thangavel and other members of the film’s crew expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the journalists, media persons, distributors, theatre owners and fans. It is to be noted that the film is performing well in Kerala and Karnataka theatres too.

When the film crew visited theatres in Madurai, Coimbatore, Trichy, Salem, Tiruppur, and Chengalpattu to watch the film with audience, they were delighted to call the actors by their characters’ names. They especially expressed their happiness by calling the hero Udhaya by his character Kanakku.

The film has made such an impact on the audience. They told the film crew that they did not feel like 2 hours and 10 minutes had passed. They recalled and praised many scenes, including the bus fight scene.

Directed by Prabhu Srinivas, a renowned director in the Kannada film industry known for his successful ventures, ‘Accused’ saw Udhaya acting with Ajmal and Yogi Babu for the first time. The movie featured popular Kannada actress Jahnvika as the female lead.

The mega-budget film marked actor Udhaya’s 25th year in cinema. Produced on a scale rivaling top-tier commercial films, ‘Accused’ is Udhaya’s most ambitious project to date.

Naren Balakumar has scored music for the movie. Cinematography of the film was handled by Maruthanayagam I. The film’s editing was done by renowned editor K.L. Praveen. The art direction was by Anand Mani, and public relations are managed by Nikil Murukan.
